All natural or legal persons active or interested in the research areas of informetrics, bibliometrics/scientometrics, technometrics and webometrics or related fields can become members of the society.
ISSI offers several types of memberships. Below is a brief description of each.

individual membership

This category of membership applies to individuals. Current dues are €50 per annum for individuals from developed countries and €10 per annum for individuals from developing countries (as defined by the UN). There is an allowance of 20% if the membership fee is paid for at least 3 years at one time, that is, individuals from developed countries pay €120 and those from developing countries pay €24 for three-year period.

Also this category applies to individuals. Current dues are €375 for individuals from developed countries and €100 for individuals from developing countries (as defined by the UN). Fee for life membership has to be paid at one time.

institutional membership

Any institution (company or organisation) can become a member of the Society through paying Institutional Membership. Institutional dues are currently €250 per annum.
