Visa

All travellers to Australia, other than Australian and New Zealand citizens, require a visa to travel to Australia.

The Australian Government provides Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) system enabling visa for short-term visits to these countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom and USA.  Visit the ETA web site for details.

The web site of the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA) Overseas Offices shows intending visitors where they can obtain visas to visit Australia in their home country.  For some countries, the closest office is given e.g. Cuba's visas are obtainable via Mexico.  The site gives address details, phone, fax, email, as well as opening hours.
